I know this post should have been in a few days ago, but work begins immediately after my birthday which explains the delay! But here it is! B rushed back from KL by Saturday night just to be in time to celebrate my birthday. So thankful that he is safe from the KL's riots. Phew.Anyway, we started the day with a good brunch at Pizza Hut! Especially with the spicy drumlets! Off we go to our activity of the day; prawning! Something new for the both of us! 3 hours of prawning and we got ourselves 10 prawns! (: In line with my birth date! And they taste really good when you eat them fresh from the grill!  It was then time for our dinner! Decided to have it at Hotel Rendezvous after much consideration! International buffet was what we had; take your pick and enjoy! Ranging from fresh oysters to their famous laksa to prata, I should say it was a pretty good deal that POSB/DBS card members get 20% discount off the total bill. The usual was $49++ on weekends...   Now the most important part; the present. I guessed B must be perhaps cracking his brains when I told him the specific details. It was either this or that. But eventually B got me this during his KL trip! Pretty isn't it? (: Love it as I finally have a watch for casual attire! Yay!  Second birthday spent with B; different emotions. Definitely in love with each other much more after we had our second overseas trip recently! I know it must have been hard on him to make sure that everything moves smoothly, thanks baby, I appreciate it, really. We shall pamper ourselves much better next year when we have more financial capabilities. (: And it is really important that someone is always around, to be there for my ups and downs, in times of crisis, emotions will naturally show. In all, it was a beautiful birthday spent this year with family and B. Their company is essentially crucial to me, even if they might not always be there. Another year older, more knowledge and experience, looking forward to another great year ahead. (: |
